You can stay close to your accommodation and still go in for sports, for example at the common tennis court situated only at 500 m from the house. The tennis court is built of concrete and is free of charge. Or you can go to Mladé Buky (16 km) where golf players can indulge in their favourite sport, or to a horse ranch 600 m away from the house. – In the historical town of Trutnov there is a beautiful square, Renaissance and Baroque houses, a castle, a museum and numerous entertainment and shopping facilities. The apartment is situated in the middle of three tourist districts, which offers a limitless choice of day trips to various locations within a radius of 50 km, such as aqua sport centres and recreational areas at water reservoir Rozkoš in the vicinity of České Skalice; the zoo and safari in Dvůr Králové (safari only in high season); fortresses and castles, of which Kuks is probably the most impressive; "Betlém", a Christmas crib carved in the rocks close to Kuks; Nová Paka with a museum and natural deposits of precious stones, such as agate and amethyst; the Cliffs of Adršpach and Teplice with waterfalls, boat roundtrips, climbing rocks and hiking routes; the fortified town of Jaroměř, with interesting architectural forms and underground tunnels; various resorts where you can relax in a most fabulous way; tourist places such as Janské Lázně and Pec pod Sněžkou with a funicular to the highest mountain in the Czech Republic: Sněžka (Snow Mountain - 1602 m). In the whole area there are unforgettable far views opening from the tops of the mountains.
