Property Description

Villa Maestrali is situated on the exclusive Kalamaki Peninsula of Skiathos Island, amid oleander, pine and olive trees, approximately 8 Km away from the town of Skiathos.

The L-shaped villa is centered around a very large South-West terrace with a breathtaking view over the bay.
Two of the three twin bedrooms open onto this terrace.

In the day time, the terrace is completely private for sun-bathing. Its new awning offers ample shade for relaxing, reading or enjoying meals, while gazing out to sea.
In the evening, with a glass of lovely Greek wine, it is the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the bay. At night, watching the star-filled skies is just as magical.

The third twin bedroom has its own newly built private little terrace on the East side of the villa with a beautiful view of the sea and trees in the morning light.
There is always a soft breeze and it is pleasant to have breakfast here, or to just sit and relax in the shadow of its old pine tree.

All three bedrooms have new beds, as well as A/C. The villa has a baby-cot, and we can provide more if needed.
There are two bathrooms/WC

The open plan, fully equipped kitchen with dining area for 6, is being custom made this spring 2008. It has a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fresh water from its own well on the property.
The spacious living room with fireplace, has an equally beautiful view on the sparkling water from the interior.

The nearest beach, bus stop and super-market are just a 10-minute downhill walk away.
To further explore the island and its many beautiful beaches, we recommend renting a car, which can be brought directly to the villa.
As an alternative, taxis and busses, which, in the season, run every 10 -15 minutes.

The best Taverna, "Stathis", is just at the bottom of the hill, across from the super-market, with tables in a garden full of flowers and old trees.
The Greek/Australian owners serve excellent food and are very friendly. In the cold months, they serve in a small cozy cottage with a fire place.

With its choice of 60 marvelous beaches, Skiathos is easily attainable.
During the season, there are numerous direct flights from the U.K. and many European cities, as well as daily connecting flights via Athens, for those coming from the United States or Canada.

The weekly rental price varies, according to season, between € 1,040 and € 2,520 (approx. $1,600 - $3,890).

Currently, in 2008 we have remaining availability from August 1st - August 11 at a special last minute rate of €1900/week (€270/day)

Local Information

Skiathos is the greenest of the Northern Sporades Islands and is covered with pine and olive trees. It offers over 60 sandy coves and clear water beaches, with numerous water activities.
