Hostinné (1.5 km) is a magnificent historic town with a beautiful City Hall in thee place, where the regular market is held. At the same place is also the tourist information. And there is also an art museum. This area almost invites you, to explore the beauty of the Giant Mountains on the hiking or mountain biking (two mountain bikes are available) tours. Gondolas and chairlifts in Jánské Lazne (17 km) bring hikers and cyclists to heights with fantastic view. There is a dense network of marked trails. Good news for golfers: only 3 km from the house is a 9-holes golf course for about 11 euros. And in Dolni Lanov (10 km) is also a 9-holes golf course. There are 15 km away in the village Mladé Buky an excellent golf course. In the near are swimming pools in Čistá (10 km) and Rudník (5 km). In the area of Trutnov is a spa lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. There are large slides for the swimmers. 15 kilometers is the glider airfield in Vrchlabí. Even 15 km away is Dvur Kralove, with one of the finest zoos in the Czech Republic, Safari Tours in the summer months. The bridge over the Elbe in Nemojov is also worth a visit. Sights worth seeing are: Vrchlabí (15 km) on the Elbe, with the Giant Mountains Museum, and the animal park.
