Situated in the hills, overlooking a green valley, it consists of an old house with a special aura, a swimming pool with a terrace, an old horse stable, a large open barn, a medieval farm and an old water fountain. The beautiful 2,500 m2 garden has lots of space where you can relax under the shade of tall old trees. The domain has been designated a historical landmark. It is located between the villages of Cayillac and Sarrazac and is surrounded by forests, meadows and nut orchards.

Local Information

 
This Gite, situated in the old horse stable, has a kitchen of 18 m2 located on the ground floor. It contains a kitchenette (microwave, oven, coffeemaker and freezer) and a dining and sitting area with a TV and DVD player. On the first floor you will find two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and the other bedroom has three single beds. The bathroom is big and has a shower, bidet, sink and toilet. The washing machine is located in the basement of the house. The entire accommodation is modern but offers a lot of character with its colors and light. In front of the entrance to the Gite there is a terrace with a barbecue which also provides a magnificent view of the valley.

In the vicinity of Domaine Le Cedregibt there are a variety of sporting and cultural activities. Nearby you will find six of the most beautiful villages of France: Colonges la Rouge, Cure Montenegro, the small town of Castle Turenne, Autoire, Loubressac and Carennac. In addition, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Meijssac, Martel, Aubazine, Argentat and Brive la Gaillarde are highly recommended. The famous Walfahrtsort Rocamadour is only 35 km away by car. The area provides great opportunities for bicycle activities as well as hiking trips. The Dordogne offers unprecedented opportunities for fishing, swimming and canoeing. Golfers will find several golf courses in the area. Because of the calm nature and friendly prices of the golf course it is ideal for beginners. GVB cards are not necessary.This is also a paradise for gourmets. You will find something in all price ranges. Many restaurants offer a 'menu Ouvrier' for about 12. € - for lunch (between 12.00 and 13.00 o'clock). Oftentimes you can get a 5-course dinner (no menu choice) with wine- make sure you are there in time!
