The Holiday Park Les Rives de l'Arc is 1500 m high in the (ski-) village of Val-Cenis. This park consists of 95 apartments, spread in smaller one-, two- or three buildings. In the park is an open fireplace corner, a reading corner, a television room, a game room with foosball and table tennis, a sport area, where you can play tennis, volleyball and Jeu de Boules, a laundromat and a car park. You have on the spot also a small supermarket, a bakery and a restaurant. Near the park is a heated indoor pool (bathing cap mandatory!) with whirlpool and fitness room. For guests of the resorts the pool is for free. The pool is open in the summer from late June until mid / late August. For children there are various child / youth clubs, aged 2 to 17 years. During school holidays, every day, is an animation as gymnastics, sports activities, video, local market and regular evening entertainment such as dance spectacle, dancing and a 'village festival'. For a fee, you can rent a package of bed linen (June, July, August), bath linen package, cleaning, a Comfort Plus package or a TV. You pay for this extra service lines on the spot. You can reserve, for free, a baby package (cot, baby bath and baby chair). In the winter period (Dec - April) the bed linen package is included in the price. For the daily shopping, you find a shop 300 meters and supermarkets are 25 km away. The ski resort of La Vanoise is located 1.5 km from the village and is accessible by car or free shuttle bus. The ski area covers an area of 80 km: ski slopes, 110 snow guns, 18 ski lifts, a snow park and 2 free-ride routes. Here you will find 9 green slopes, 10 blue, 18 red and 6 black. For cross-country skiers are from the village 3 laps, then you get into an area with a total length of 80 km. This includes a magnificent tour around the lake of Mont Cenis.
