The picturesque village of Ny is a quiet little niche (150 inhabitants) in the well-known area of Hotton (4 km). In this area, where the Ourthe meets the Aisne, you can envision the Ardennes as a series of wooded valleys, fast flowing rivers, and small and steep cliffs which, from time to time, reveal a castle. A visit to the sights in the area will certainly not be disappointing. The holiday park l'Espinette is especially recommended for families with young children as the park is restricted to pedestrian traffic only. Cars are limited to the parking area behind the park. Children can safely enjoy the facilities which include an open-air pool, mini-golf, a playground, and an indoor play area; or travel by foot to the 'Land van Ny.' In Hotton there is a large children's playground and the beach on the banks of the Ourthe. Other options include: the playground 'Chez Grand-Père' in Barvaux with indoor and outdoor activities for (young) children; the Park 'Chlorophylle' in Dochamps, where there is a forest to explore in a unique way- not to mention a drive through the water world- all accompanied by various educational activities; a tram through the Aisnetal in Erezée or Houtopia; and child city in Houffalize. In July and August, the park serves as the starting point for various sports activities with professional guides. The area around the holiday parks will surprise you with its numerous attractions. First, the village of Ny: one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia. The caves of Hotton (5 km), and the 'Caves of the Thousand and One Nights' with their magnificent stalactites (guided tours). In the village of 'Wéris', only 7 km away from the park, there is the 'Stonehenge' of the Ardennes. In the surrounding forests you will find numerous stone altars and rocks whose origins are still a mystery.
