Children are free to frolic and cycle around as the park is almost traffic-free. It is easily accessible by car (via E25 or E42) but can also be highly recommended to travelers by train as the station is only 100 m from the park. You can walk to the city centre and the many small shops. The surroundings of Les Doyards offer many possibilities for day trips, sports and entertainment to suit every taste. In winter – if there is snow- it is an ideal place for skiing, sleighing and cross-country skiing. The restaurant at the park offers a broad choice of meals- both snacks and more sophisticated dishes. It is also possible to order take away dishes to enjoy at your accommodation. The terrace of the restaurant is a good place to try a regional beer while watching the kids play on the big playground. The lake and its surroundings offer further possibilities for recreation: water cycling, fishing, cycling, walking, hiking or just lazing on the grass. The gym offers: tennis, basketball, volleyball and football. There is also a sauna and solarium. Other sport options in the neighbourhood include: mountain biking (bike rental at 400 m), horseback riding in Mont-Le-Soy, kayaking on the Amblève, miniature golf and of course winter sports: langlauf ski-runs and skiing in Baraque Fraiture (only 15 km from the park). This apartment is suitable for up to 4 persons. The (living) area is circa 28 m². It is very neat and has a living room, double bed couch, TV, dining area and a completely equipped kitchenette with four hot plates, extraction fan and refrigerator. There is a bedroom furnished with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the lake or the pyramid. Apartments on the ground floor do not have a balcony. Garden furniture is available and the apartment is electrically heated.
