This apartment is located in Medendorf, a small village situated at a height of 560 meters, in the Belgian-German Hoge vein-Eiffel nature area. Here you can enjoy lots of peace and quiet! In the garden, which includes a large terrace to the south, you have a very beautiful view of the small villages from Our-Valley to Snow-Eiffel. From the apartment, located on the edge of the vast Ommerwalds, hike or bike directly into the natural surroundings. Around Medendorf there are many hiking, cycling and mountain bike routes. If you like you can choose many marked hiking and bike paths such as the GR56 trail, or bicycle routes through the Amsterdam-Rome, Trier Tilburg and Maastricht-Luxembourg. For the mountain bike enthusiast there is a regional mountain bike network with a total length of 850 km. Bicycle racers can try the bicycle hub network with a length of 850 km. For the true adventurers there are plenty of possibilities to choose a route. At Easter, Pentecost and Ascension there are revised rental periods. For the exact dates please refer to our conditions.

This recently renovated, free-standing house is suitable for a maximum of 14 persons and has its own parking area. The apartment has a 4-person (two bunk beds) and eight 2-person bedrooms, one furnished with a double bed. All rooms are equipped with wash basins with hot and cold running water. One room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. For the other rooms there are 3 showers with thermostat-taps and 3 toilets located in the hall. There is also a separate bathroom with shower and toilet which is suitable for wheelchair users. The spacious living area of 95 m2, with floor heating, encompasses an open kitchen, a large dining table and a large living room with comfortable sofas and chairs placed around a fireplace. There is a TV with VCR and DVD player, as well as a stereo and a play corner for children. In the kitchen you will find 2 refrigerators, freezers, microwave, a large 5-burner stove with an oven, as well as other kitchen utensils. If you do not feel like cooking, you can order in. You have a large terrace (about 100 m), located on the south side, which has a barbecue. On the lawn in front of the terrace you will find play equipment for the children. Slightly lower, to the left of the terrace, there is a second grassy area which is suitable for volleyball or badminton. On the other side of the building there is a meadow of approximately 1500 m2, suitable for other activities. All rooms are located on the ground floor, and have no door thresholds thus making them very suitable for wheelchair users. For groups for more than 20 people there are three additional 2-person rooms located in the nearby main building of the old farm. Medendorf, with no more than 15 houses and farms, is situated in the Belgian-German nature park of Hoge vein-Eifel, an unspoiled area with numerous hiking and mountain bike routes. Due to its high altitude you will find many rivers, including the Warche, Amblève and the Our. Canoes can be rented at the lakes of Robertville and Bütgenbach, and here you will also find many swimming pools and water sports activities- ideal for children! For trips there are numerous possibilities. For example, there are the lively towns of Malmédy and St. Vith; the waterfalls of Coo; and the caves of Rémouchamps. Directly across the border in Germany, you can visit the Hellenthal Zoo, swim at Vulkamar, or tour picturesque towns like Monschau and Kronenburg, with its ancient castle ruins. A little further away from here you will find Aachen and Cologne; the Phantasialand amusement park; various lakes and the small volcanic peaks of the Eiffel; the ancient Roman city of Trier ad Mosel; and Luxembourg.
