For fans of (mountain) hiking and cycling here are the Giant Mountains with their dense network of marked hiking trails, old, colorful mountain homes, waterfalls and unforgettable past prospects. A challenge for recreational walkers is the 40 km long "Krkonoše magistrále" trail along the mountain. In nearby Spindlerův Mlýn you can see the place where the Elbe River originates. -- In Rokytnice you will find places with shops, restaurants and other services. -- In the towns of Harrachov (11 km), Spindlerův Mlýn (40 km) and Vrchlabí (the Upper Elbe, 26 km) you will find magnificent examples of folk architecture. If you love culture and history you can visit: the Harrachover glass museum; violin museum and ski museum of Paseky; the home museum and castle of Vrchlabí. -- There are sports opportunities in nearby sport halls, the summer toboggan runs in Spindlerův Mlýn, and the aqua park located in Liberec (45 km).
