Horsterwold is the largest hardwood forest in Europe and is located in the district of Zeewolde! The forest is dominated by poplars- unique in the Netherlands! Ferns, various species of moss, and assorted vines cast a magical spell on this place. At the country residence of Horsterwold there is room for everyone. You can mountain bike or relax amidst the natural surroundings. Adventurous hikers are attracted to 'De Stille Kern' which is a vast wilderness, where there are no paths. The beautiful view of the pond (along the garden) is an ornament for the whole park. The surrounding area provides the opportunity for tennis on the open or two 'All-Weather' tennis courts (both free), which are two minutes walk away!

This free-standing villa is suitable for a maximum of 12 persons. The total (residential) area is about 180 m2. The villa is well-maintained and furnished with various facilities of good quality for your convenience. The villa has six bedrooms, and a large living room with a wide-screen television and CD player. The large kitchen, with separate dining area, is fully equipped including: refrigerator-freezer, oven/microwave combination, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and complete equipment for the number of persons. There are two separate shower rooms, of which one bathroom has a tub (1st floor). On the ground floor there is a spacious bathroom with shower. The villa also has two separate toilets. On the upper floor you will find a washing machine. In the garden there is a shed where you can put your bicycles. Outside on the terrace there is sufficient garden furniture.
