The property was originally two Mills, an Olive Mill and a Flour Mill but have now been joined together and beautifully restored to make a tranquil holiday home retaining the old features with modern comforts, 4 en suite bedrooms and a large private pool. This is a unique opportunity to stay in a very unusual property with lots of space and character.

Saleres is one of the quietest and most unspoilt of the villages that are dotted around the hillsides and mountains of this area between Granada, the Sierra Nevada and the coast.
There are no shops or restaurants in the village, but there is a market in the main square and visiting traders of different kinds - the baker, the fish man and vegetable van and all sorts. The larger villages of Albunuelas and Restabal, with their shops, bars, restaurants and banks are only 5 minutes drive away.
The nearest beach is about 40 minutes drive away as is the historic city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Nearby is the enormous fresh water lake of Beznar with its many pretty picnic spots and the picturesque villages and awe inspiring mountains of the Alpujarras.
On the coast there is the horseshoe bay of La Herradura with its bustling beach restaurants, snorkeling and the busy, sandy beach with crystal clear waters at Nerja with many beach-side restaurants.
Further afield is the scenic coastline of the National Park, Cabo de Gata and wide expanses of deserted sandy beaches. Excellent walking, horse riding, cycling, tennis, diving, paragliding and a great base for snow skiing or snow boarding at the excellent ski resort of Sol y Nieve in the spectacular mountains of the Sierra Nevada, only about an hour's drive away from the Lecrin Valley, December - April.

A maid comes every day for two hours and on Friday mornings for four hours. Additional hours can be arranged and paid directly with the maid once you are there.
The Pool is cleaned and maintained proffessionaly on a weekly/twice weekly basis.
Linen and all towels are provided and changed once a week. There is also a hairdryer available.

The house is approached by a gravelled drive with room for three/four cars. There are large portico double doors leading to a small entrance courtyard and the front door.
At the back of the house the garden door leads to a terrace which has a marble topped dining table, 8 chairs as well as some occassional chairs. This leads to the Orchard (about 1/4 acre) where you can walk up through the trees to the raised and fenced in Pool (10 metres x 5 metres). with 8 sunbeds and Pergalo shaded area. There are sunloungers, chairs and a shower by the pool as well as a shady pergalo area. The swimming pool is surrounded by an orchard of orange trees.
Anfahrt
To get to the Lecrin Valley, you can either fly into Malaga or Granada, with Granada being the closest to the valley.
We recommend that you pick up a hire car at the airport and then drive to the village. From Granada, it is about a forty minute drive. From Malaga, it is a two hour drive.
