The accommodation has space for 2 to 26 persons and is also very appropriate as a facility for holding courses, garden workshops and festivals. It is a former apartment guard dike at the bottom of the "slaperdijk. It has a 5,130 m2 garden encircled by trees. Horse stalls and a stable, a large pond, a fire station, bathhouse and studio space are also located here. On the dike there is the only former 'customs house' in the Netherlands. A unique location for bird watchers and nature lovers! Magnificent views! The interior was entirely rebuilt - nostalgic open kitchen and living room, 5 bedrooms, a side room with a piano. A soothing oasis of tranquility and space!

Local Information

Rintjeshoek consists of several buildings: First there is the house itself, which despite all the renovations and updates still emanates the atmosphere of bygone days. Inside there is a lot of woodwork, which creates a warm and natural ambiance. Then there are the so-called "house calves". This wonderful small stable of traditional brick now offers an extra shower, a bath with shower, three sinks and two toilets. Moreover, even outside there is a sideboard with two washing facilities and an extra tap. Next there is the "Sylhok", now used as a garage / barn, but can also be used as a studio. A new floor with bedrooms for 8 persons (four double beds each- you must bring sleeping bags for these beds) was built in July 2006. The "Sylhok" is not (yet) heated, but is well insulated and has a new roof. At the back of the garden there is a horse stable, with a capacity of 2 horses or 3 ponies. In the garden you will also find a pond and a place for a campfire or barbecue. If you come at the right time, you can freely eat from the fruit trees and berry bushes. Next you will find: an upper floor with 3 bedrooms, accessible via an open staircase from the kitchen and / or a floor staircase. Below: an entrance hall; a large living room with an open kitchen complete with oven / grill and a dishwasher; 2 bedrooms; a bathroom with tub / shower, sink and toilet; a separate space for a washing machine; provisions room; chamber; adjoining room with 2 toilets; heater, central heating and gas stove; garden furniture; washing machine, grill / oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, TV (antenna), 1 water bed (big), 1 sofa (2 persons), 3 double beds, 4 single beds and 2 1-person folding beds (can even be 2 single beds) 2 children's beds, 1 highchair, central heating and gas stove; 3 showers, 1 hip bath, 1 bath, 5 toilets. No bunk beds. Downstairs is disability-friendly!
