Property Description

The Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club was established in 1989 above the fishing village of Newcastle. Since that time, it has extended its gracious hospitality to thousands of island visitors.

The accommodation is comfortable and gracious, and the restaurant is one of the best on Nevis. Undoubtedly the value offered is as outstanding as the setting.

Local Information

To explore the island car rental can be arranged or an island tour. There is much to see which should include Nevis' museums and plantation inns.

Once again for activities there is much to do - deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, water skiing, scuba diving, hiking, horseback riding, tennis, championship golf, guided tours and hikes around and up Mount Nevis can all be arranged. There are also lovely walks along some trails nearby and the charming Cottle Church is an enjoyable stroll away.

Golf is available just outside the hotel on the Roger Staiger par three executive course.

And for adventures further afield there are day trips to the neighbouring islands of St. Kitts or St. Barts.

The Conference Centre has 2,400 square feet of meeting space. The location of the conference center takes full advantage of our unique setting and spectacular views of St. Kitts and the Caribbean Sea. The indoor meeting space, which consists of 1,400 square feet, can be combined with the 1,000 square foot outdoor space. This facility can seat 80 people. It's an ideal alternative for private functions such as weddings and small meetings. Internet access.

There is a gym located in the fourth pavilion on the hotel grounds. It is equipped with treadmills, bikes, a stair climber, free weights and a multi-gym. It is available for our guests only.

For a complete relaxation experience, massage therapy is available in your room by appointment.

Very large open mature gardens surround the property with far-reaching views to the sea and beyond. There is a large pool and pool terrace.

There is a shuttle service during the day to the hotel Beach Club located on Newcastle Bay. It's a mile away from the hotel – just a five minute car ride. The Beach Club features a casual seaside restaurant and a beach pavilion. It is famous for introducing the very first pizza pie to Nevis. In addition to many varieties of pizza, you can sample Mexican and Italian specialties. The views from this location are also spectacular.

Directions

Mount Nevis Hotel is only minutes from the Airport, and twenty minutes from Charlestown, the capital of the island.

St Maarten, St. Kitts, Antigua or St. Croix are convenient transit points. Air charters can be arranged to meet flights at these airports. There is also a ferry from St. Kitts which takes about 30 minutes.

American/American Eagle via San Juan/St. Kitts has several daily flights serving most cities in the USA.
British Airways,Virgin, BWIA, American, Air Canada, Continental and Lufthansa fly directly to Antigua.
Xcel airways now flies from the UK into St. Kitts and then there is a ferry to Nevis.
Air France, KLM, US Airways & Continental serve nearby St. Maarten.
US Airways has direct service from Philadelphia to St. Kitts every Saturday. The service offers connections from Albany, Hartford, Boston, Baltimore, Burlington, Buffalo, Washington DC, Norfolk, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Montreal and Toronto.
