The lovely little village of Dieulivol is situated two kilometres away, and Monségur, with all shopping facilities, tennis courts and Thursday and Friday markets, is five kilometres. Duras (nine kilometres) has an interesting castle, restaurants, a Monday market, extensive sports facilities and produces very good wine. There is a leisure lake of Castelgaillard (fourteen kilometres) with swimming, kayaking, fishing, pedaloes, huge water slides, archery, horse riding and crazy golf.

Among the attractive features of the property are the two picturesque pigeonniers (dovecotes - out of use) situated on either side of the house and pool.
