This ‘canava’ – cave house – can comfortably accommodate parties of up to nine guests. Approached via an intimate and inviting courtyard, one enters a vast living area, complete with high vaulted ceilings in the traditional Santorinian style. Adding to the ambience of the living space are the use of hand-made marble up-lights and the use of Swarkovski crystal lampshades. The open-plan living area is the perfect place to relax.

The richly appointed dining room promises moments of gastronomic delight, prepared either by yourselves or a chef, upon request. The dining room is serviced by a well equipped galley-style kitchen. The living room offers the opportunity to unwind, choosing a DVD or CD from the library or one of the many board games.

A hand-made, stain glass door leads from the living room to the master bedroom with a large, circular double bed, cool white walls and Italian tiled floor. Accommodated within this bedroom is a large Jacuzzi set with mosaic glass tiles. In addition, the master bedroom boasts a flat screen television and built in wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom has all the modern amenities, including a large overhead shower and hand-made marble basin.

A curved staircase, leading from the open-plan living area, leads to a mezzanine floor with a double bed, moon shaped window giving an exceptional and romantic view of the Caldera.

The third double bedroom – or suite – with its private seating area, complete with a fire place and flat screen television, is reached both by a separate entrance from the courtyard and an internal door leading to the main living space. There is a small kitchenette and a mini-bar. The en-suite bathroom is spectacular with its large circular bath with, overhead shower and recessed hand-made ceramic gold-leaf basin.

Villa Anggelos is furnished to a high standard in the traditional style of the Cycladic islands. It is fully air-conditioned, and has a laptop, printer and 24 hour internet. This property also has a professional treadmill, abs equipment and weights available.
