The traditional little farm (Tanya) has recently been converted for holiday purposes, but managed to keep its original century-old atmosphere: the traditional Hungarian water well, the horse barn, the thick walls, the beams, the old closet, etc. The farm is situated at a unique location, hidden by the trees in the open landscape, surrounded by poppies and grass land. A little paradise in the middle of the Hungarian country. An excellent place to enjoy the quiet and nature. In winter pheasants, deer and roes choose Jelly Tanya for their lair. Otherwise the grounds (700m2) are yours. There are several places where you can sit down, and a little tea pavillion. The Hungarian climate is pleasant thanks to the many sun hours. Summer can be pretty hot, however around the house are many shadowy spots. Inside the coolness is preserved by the thick walls and small windows. In the immediate vicinity you'll not only find picturesque farms, but beautiful nature reserves, excellent for hiking too. Jelly Tanya is let by way of the nearby Szabad Föld estate, where you can consult the manager. You can use all provisions there, like the fax, swimming-pool, tennis-court, etc.

Local Information

The farm has been completely modernized on the in- and outside and is suitable for 6 persons. The fully equipped kitchen has a big refrigerator, a cooker, coffee-machine, etc. With exception of the kitchen the house has been left in the traditional Hungarion style as much as possible. In the living-room are a table and chairs, a little bar and a single bed. The transsylvanian stove is very striking, and ensures comfortable temperatures during spring and autumn. On the ground floor are spacious hall, a bathroom with shower, a wash-hand basin and a toilet. The large ground floor bedroom for three persons has 1 single and a double bed and a wash-hand basin. By way of the stairs you reach the attic where you find the second bedroom (2 beds), especially suitable for teenagers. If you need a baby-chair or a cot, please report this at reservation. They will be there for you, free of charge.
