There is a maid/laundress 6 days per week, 5 hours per day. Her duties are general housekeeping, bedmaking. cleaning, washing-up, laundering of bed linen and bath towels and any other housekeeping tasks.
The maid can also prepare good local dishes, cold meals, salads, fresh fruit. She can also babysit and there is an extra charge for cooking or babysitting - this can be supplied on request.

There is a telephone at the house. There is no charge for local calls, and the telephone will not make International calls, but will receive them. International calls can be made using a 'Companion Calling Card' which can be purchased from most supermarkets and other outlets.

Steps from the verandah lead down to a beautiful 20 foot diameter circular swimming pool set in hardwood decking, and for children there is a separate paddling pool
