There is a maid/laundress 6 days per week, 5 hours per day. Her duties are general housekeeping, bedmaking. cleaning, washing-up, laundering of bed linen and bath towels and any other housekeeping tasks. The maid can also prepare good local dishes, cold meals, salads, fresh fruit. She can also babysit and there is an extra charge for cooking or babysitting - this can be supplied on request. There is a telephone at the house. There is no charge for local calls, and the telephone will not make International calls, but will receive them. International calls can be made using a 'Companion Calling Card' which can be purchased from most supermarkets and other outlets.

A short flight of stairs lead from the verandah down to a very pretty garden, sundeck and the most delightful swimming pool. At the far end of the pool there is a Gazebo with a built-in barbecue for outdoor meals.

The cottage is just a few paces from the beach, separated by a narrow, infrequently used service road.
