Property Description

A large and gorgeous seven bedroomed holiday villa in a private and secluded position. The Finca is set in a huge area of about 40,000 square metres with wonderful views across the countryside to the Tramuntana mountain range on one side and the picturesque village of Sencelles on the other.

This is an older Finca which has been restored and extended with no expense spared, to create a wonderfully luxurious property in a lovely location.

Local Information

This picturesque, rural area is found east of the main highway that runs between Palma and Inca and then to Pollenca and Alcudia. The nearby village of Sencelles has good facilities, shops, restaurants and is only about two kilometres from Finca Sa Garriga.

This area is wonderful for walking, cycling and is an excellent base for touring the island. The north western coast is only a short distance away, with the delightful and renowned villages of Soller, Deia and Valldemossa within forty to fifty kilometres. The city of Palma is about twenty five kilometres and well worth a visit. The popular beaches in the northern part of the island at Pollenca are about thirty kilometres and the beaches nearer Palma are closer, about tweny five kilometres.

The nearest golf course is about twenty kilometres away, and Palma airport is about thirty kilometres away. For those wishing to enjoy horse-riding during their holiday on Mallorca, there is the excellent equestrian establishment known as RANCHO SON CALLAR within easy driving distance.

The property is cleaned and linen and towels changed once weekly. Linen and towels are provided with the villa, but you will need to bring your own pool towels. A small welcome pack is also supplied for your arrival.

From the lane, there are stone pillared gates and a long stone driveway which is arched and lit by lamps leading to the front of the house. The property is surrounded on all sides by about 250 square metres of covered and pillared stone terraces on the ground level and extensive terracing on the upper level.

Under the covered terrace between the main entrance door and the kitchen is a long refectory table and chairs. Numerous pots of palms and flowers on the terraces. The lovely gardens extend to about 2,000 square metres and the excellent mosaic tiled swimming pool is about 11 x 5 metres. There is a new bathroom and shower by the pool. Sun loungers and outside furniture.

The exterior areas of this property provide a great deal of space and a kitchen/barbecue room near the pool makes wonderful opportunities for al fresco living. This is a very private and secluded location, though not isolated as it is only two kilometres from the village of Sencelles, and about three kilometres from Binissalem.
