Local Information

Situated about five kilometres from the much sought after resort of Cala D'Or and the excellent and numerous surrounding beaches. About sixty kilometres from Palma and the International airport is about fifty five kilometres away. The nearest village for restaurants, shops, bars and cafes would be Calonge, only about a kilometre away. Activities nearby include: Golf at Club de Golf Vall D'Or, only about five kilometres, Walking, Hiking, Cycling, Watersports, sailing & cruising at Cala d'Or and other resorts, five to ten kilometres. In the grounds you will discover almond and lemon groves, tomato vines, a dovecote, and around the house a luxuriant formal country garden of lawns, plants and roses. Grapes hang heavy (in season) over the patio dining table, providing shade for alfresco lunches.

The barbecue is set among sage, thyme and rose bushes adjacent to the patio and garden loungers. A garden swing hangs from the bough of a large pepper tree. Old farm carts and carriages are dotted around the place, and giant olive oil pots and cartwheels add to the ambiance. An old well lies redundant in the garden - the house now has a mains water supply! The 11m x 6m swimming pool is not overlooked, and has exercise equipment for that early morning workout. Darts and table tennis will help keep the kids amused.
