Ban Suriya or, as it is known in English, “The Sunshine House” sits on the southern end of Lipa Noi “Little Palm” Beach. This is a glorious unspoilt stretch of white sand affording views of the Anthong Marine Park and classic sunsets. The fishing village of Bophut on the northern coast offers a selection of superb Western and Thai eateries with views of Koh Phan Ngan Island. Lamai Beach is just 15 minutes away in the easterly direction, with the main tourist area of Chaweng a few minutes further on.
