Property Description

Quinta de Santo Antonio is positioned in a delightful, quiet countryside location nestling in the foothills some two kilometres north of San Bras, a small thriving country town about 20 mins. drive from Faro and 30 mins. from the coast at Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
The house was built some 10 years ago in the traditional Algarvian farmhouse style, with a high standard of finish incorporating white marble floors throughout and it enjoys fine views across the surrounding hills and villages.

The house stands on a very large plot accessed from a little used track and the small village of Alportel which is only a few minutes walk away provides useful local shops and two lively bars.

Local Information

There are many beautiful golf courses along the Algarvian coastline, all now easily accessible on the new motorway which spans from Villa Real on the Spanish border to Lagos in the west.

Facilities for horse riding, tennis, deep sea fishing, watersports and many other sporting activities are all close at hand and behind us are endless beautiful cork oak and eucalyptus woods to be explored.

Linen and towels are provided with the villa, although pool and beach towels are not and you will need to bring your own.
There is a washing machine and a weekly maid service for stays of over one week. The pool is cleaned once a week and there is a reliable maintenance service. There is private parking.

Outside, there are particularly large paved terraces with shaded arches over the dining area and a huge lower terrace surrounding a superb 12 metre, extra deep pool. Below is a large shaded olive, fig and almond grove with garden areas.

Our Maid, who also looks after the gardens, comes every weekday and we provide a food parcel to cater for your immediate needs on arrival.

There are many excellent local restaurants in the surrounding villages and we provide a list of these with some recommendations before your departure.

We also have a telephone, which is metered and this can be made available for the use of our guests.
