Twilight - Overview

Twilight is the perfect "get away from it all" holiday villa. Situated on the unspoilt island of Koh Tao and set in grounds of about one acre amongst mature Palms which provide perfect and essential shade from the endless sunshine.

Property Description

Recently built to a Thai style on this idyllic and until recently, secret island, this is probably the largest privately owned villa on the island of Kah Tao to date. This island has magnificent beaches, year round sun, is very safe and extremely secluded. Koh Tao is just twenty one square kilometres in size and has only one road. Of all the Thai Islands it is generally agreed that Koh Tao is the most beautiful, and as yet, still unspoilt. Indeed, we have here all the ingredients for a truly memorable holiday.

Local Information

The Island is very small and therefore nothing is very far away. Within a few minutes stroll are a variety of restaurants which are open virtually constantly. Traditional stir fried Thai, Seafood, Italian, French, Mexican, Korean, Creole cuisines abound, together with a number of local bars and coffee shops.
A twenty minute walk would take you to the main town of the Island in which a whole host of Restaurants, Bars, Night Spots, Pubs, Clothes Shops and Hand made Thai Silk shops. There is also a daily market.

In most cases the preferred choice for dinner is to select from the huge range of Restaurants and Bars serving the freshly caught fish of the day, barbecued to perfection, or a Stir Fried Thai menu set on the various beaches which are around 5 to 10 mins away by taxi. Select a table at the water's edge and enjoy your drinks and food with the water lapping at your feet and under a starlit sky. A truly romantic experience!

There are many things to do during the day if you feel energetic enough! If it is Scuba Diving that appeals to you then most of the Dive schools are located at the East end of the Island and are World renowned for their Diving Sites, Coral Reefs and amazing underwater sea life. Courses for absolute beginners all the way through to Instructor status are available and of course are all PADI approved. There are a whole host of Diving Companies from which to choose and you may wish to book in advance.

Other activities include Long Tail Boat trips, Water Ski-ing, Fishing, Swimming, Boat Hire, Windsurfing, Rock Cimbing, Trekking, Wake Boarding, Walking, Cycling, Thai Cooking Classes and all are available at short notice. For the less energetic there are Yoga sessions, sunbathing on one of the fabulous beaches, taking in a very relaxing Thai Beach Massage, paddling in the crystal clear water which is 28C degrees (82F) year round, or a Thai Siesta whilst awaiting the wonderful sunsets.
